President Sha Hailin Conducts Research at Taobao and Tmall Group
On the afternoon of January 16, President Sha Hailin and his delegation visited and conducted research at the Alibaba headquarters in Xuhui, where Taobao and Tmall Group is located. The visit aimed to gain an in-depth understanding of Taobao and Tmall Group's business development, explore future trends in the e-commerce industry, and strengthen communication and cooperation between the Association and enterprises. Also participating in the visit were Zhou Ping, executive vice president of the Association, and Gu Jiahe, vice president, among other leaders.

President Sha and his delegation first toured the exhibition hall of Alibaba's Shanghai headquarters, where they learned in detail about the development history, business layout, and technological innovation achievements of Alibaba and Taobao and Tmall Group. As one of Alibaba's core business groups, Taobao and Tmall Group operates diverse businesses such as Taobao, Tmall, Tmall Supermarket, Tmall Global, Idle Fish, Taobao Live, and Alimama, forming a comprehensive business matrix that provides global consumers with diversified, personalized, and high-quality lifestyle needs.
During the exchange and discussion, Ren Yuan, vice president of Public Affairs of Taobao and Tmall Group, extended a warm welcome to President Sha and his delegation on behalf of the group and provided a detailed introduction to Taobao and Tmall Group's business operations. He mentioned that Taobao and Tmall Group not only holds a leading position in the domestic market but also actively expands into international markets, bringing together hundreds of thousands of global and Chinese brands, tens of millions of manufacturers, small and medium-sized merchants, and content creators. At the same time, Taobao and Tmall Group adheres to the strategy of "User First, AI-Driven," continuously enhancing consumer experiences, accelerating the research and application of new technologies, and innovating consumption scenarios and operational models.
